The Overall Goal

The goal of the meeting, which was open to all, was to provide the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), drug developers, doctors, and academic researchers opportunities to hear from AIH patients about the impact the disease has on their health and daily life. It was also a chance for patients to share their views of currently available therapies and goals for treatment.

The AIHA hopes this important meeting highlighted the need for new treatments that work for all patients and that have fewer side effects.
